Love Struck Giveaway Hop!!!!

Welcome one and all to Nya Rayne's world!!!

This particular hop is going to last from the 15th to the 22nd of June. So, don't worry you can totally take your time enjoying the ride.

First, a little about me:

I am a paranormal and futuristic romance writer. All of my stories err on the side of romance with a good helping of erotica, and then a dash more of romance. So, yeah, I like it haut!! I've been writing professionally for a little over 10 years, but wrote my first story at the tender age of 15. It amounted to nothing, but was so much fun to write that I kept doing it. Anyway that's enough about me, you're here to hear which of my characters has me totally smitten, to the point that I just want to eat him up, right?

Well, that would have to be sexilicious, Donte, from my novel, FOR HIS LOVE.  The man is just a walking, talking sex pot.

Don't you agree?

Here's an excert from For His Love.  Donte, the sweetheart, is helping Phia get rid of a headache.

excerpt:

His fingers moved with expert precision, massaging the hairless lips of her sex.

Phia gyrated against his touch, her head thrashing back and forth. As his thumb rubbed at the rise of her vulva, her hips, of their own accord, rose up, her legs falling open, inviting him in.

She gripped the sheets as he played in her wetness. “Donté?”

“Shssh.” He parted her, his fingers moving gently but swiftly. She lost her grip on the world. His thumb moved over her clitoris repeatedly, brushing over the tip, applying enough pressure to elicit a soft moan from her as her hips undulated toward his touch.

Suddenly, all she knew was this unnatural feeling swimming through her, growing by insurmountable bounds, making sparks of electricity bring parts of her body alive she wasn’t even aware she owned.

He was relentless in his ministrations. Colors swam before her closed eyelids, beautiful shades, some she’d never seen before. The slick stickiness of her sex grew and expanded, draining from her like warm, rich syrup over hot crepes, and still his fingers danced over her, never entering, but coming so close she could feel him pushing against her walls, plunging deeper and deeper.

Her breath quickened, her heart rapped against her ribs, and her hips, her legs, her arms shook uncontrollably as an invisible coil buried deep within her abdomen snapped, shooting long, powerful yellow rays of current throughout her body. She gripped the sheets tighter, her body tensed, and she bit down on her lower lip as her hips rose and a spasm of sheer pleasure burst from her.

It took more than a few moments for her body to stop writhing and for her to regain some cognizance of where she was, but when she did, she opened her eyes to find him sitting back on the bed beside her, staring down at her.

“How’s your headache?”

Remember the Troops!!!

Welcome one and all!!

I'm Nya Rayne and this is my world.

I am a paranormal and futristic romance writer.

Anyway that's enough about me, the reason you and I are here is to, for the next 3 days, celebrate our men and women in uniform, who tirelessly protect our rights from foes near and far.

These men and women leave their families and friends to go thousands of miles away from home, so that you and I can still enjoy the freedoms we have come to know and love.  I'm sure we all know someone who fights, have fought, and who have died in the name of freedom.

In my own family alone, there are several veterans, myself included.  My uncle served in the Navy for over 25 years, sailing from coast to coast and shore to shore.

My first cousin served over 10 years as a Marine Sgt., at home and overseas.

And my brother and myself, both served in the Army.  He was stationed on the west coast and I was stationed in the East.

I also have several friends, who are members of the Air Force.

To show my appreciation to these soldiers, not a night goes by that I don't send out a prayer for them.  I have also, in the past, sent anonymous gift bags overseas and I'm a pen pal to several women and a few men.  So I ask you, who do you know that's a member of the military?  What have you done recently and in the past to show your appreciation?

Contest Time!!

I want you to take a moment to think about the questions I asked above and then tell me your story.  It doesn't have to be dramatic or indepth, just tell me what branch your friend/family is a part of and how you've--in the past--shown your appreciation.  If you haven't yet, tell me how you will in the future.

Whatever it is, I want to hear about it.

So, comment, join my blog if you haven't already, friend me on facebook (www.facebook.com/nyarayne), and follow me on twitter (@nyarayne) and you'll have a chance to win, not one but a copy of both of my novels!

She loved him from the moment she saw him, but he was never hers to
love.
In a world where men are an endangered species, available only to the ruling class, and the majority of women date androids, the last thing Phia Zen wants is to buy her lover from a catalogue. Imagine her surprise when she receives her purchase, Donté, and discovers he’s a living, breathing man. Problem is he truly belongs to the most powerful woman in the world, and she’ll stop at nothing to get him back.

For the love of a real man, how much will Phia sacrifice? Her family? Her freedom? Her very life and the life of the only man she’s ever loved?

Now Available
Sometimes the very thing you've ran from all your life is the only thing that can save you.

A street-wise hustler, Stormy has been running most of her life from the creature that killed her family. However, when she meets Fury, a being so stubborn he could give a mule lessons, running is no longer an option. When he claims he’s her protector and the other half of her soul, Stormy would rather take her chances with the beast chasing her.

His dogged determination to protect her and his seductive expertise spark to life dreams she’d all but given up on: dreams of belonging to a family, and of having a life where running is nothing more than exercise. But with vile creatures hunting her, demanding her blood, and pack members who want her head instead of her help, Stormy will have to find away to place her trust and heart in Fury’s care. If she can’t, then neither of them will have a future to dream about.

Okay, so that's it for me, not on to your next stop ==>

Another One In the Wings

As most of you know, I had to fight Aspen Mountain Press to get the rights to my first novel, He Belongs to Me back.

Well, I got them and I have started the first round of edits with my new publishing company and will be re-releasing He Belongs to Me under its new title, For His Love, in May.  Here's the new cover.  An excerpt will follow after edits are complete!!!  And the edits are going great!!!

Some Excellent News in this Storm

Hi all!!  I'm back with some outstanding news in this horrific fight with Aspen Mountain Press.  Of course, this news has nothing to do with Aspen, thank god.

Ready for it?

Wait for it!

Wait for it!

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My second novel, Storm's Fury, has found a home with Musa Publishing.  It's the first of my Anubi Brothers Series.  Notice the picks above.  Yes, they all tie in and in the end have something to do with the book!!

Musa is a new kid on the block, but from the owner to the art director and beyond--they are a well established and worldly group of people.  The contract is posted on-line, the authors have say so in every aspect of the publishing process, and I'm in total love with their page lay out.  It's not, I repeat, not a word doc saved as a PDF!!

Yuck and double yuck!!

In addition to that, unlike when I signed with my first publisher (AMP), I have no reservations whatsoever about Musa.  So far it seems like an open door policy. I have email and contacts for everyone. So, it shouldn't take forever to get an answer when I need one.

Anyway, that's all for now.  When I get the okay, I'll post an excerpt for you all to perusal and devour!

Until next time...
