A Hero's Hop

Thanks all for stopping by!!!

This particular hop is going to last from the 27th to the 31st of July. So, there's more than enough time for everyone to get involved and hopefully win a few amazing prizes!!

Now for the boring stuff:

I am a paranormal and futuristic romance writer. All of my stories err on the side of romance with a good helping of erotica, and then a dash more of romance. So, yeah, I like it haut!! I've been writing professionally for a little over 10 years, but wrote my first story at the tender age of 15. It amounted to nothing, but was so much fun to write that I kept doing it.

Anyway that's enough about me, you're here to talk sexy romance hero's, aren't you?  Well, as we all know heros come all a shapes and sizes. But, I especially love when they come in tightly wrapped packages of raw muscle and alpha machismo.

The first hero I'd like you all to meet is Fury from the first book in my Anubi Brothers Series, Storm's Fury:

Blurb:

A street-wise hustler, Stormy has been running most of her life from the creature that killed her family. However, when she meets Fury, a being so stubborn he could give a mule lessons, running is no longer an option. When he claims he’s her protector and the other half of her soul, Stormy would rather take her chances with the beast chasing her.

His dogged determination to protect her and his seductive expertise spark to life dreams she’d all but given up on: dreams of belonging to a family, and of having a life where running is nothing more than exercise. But with vile creatures hunting her, demanding her blood, and pack members who want her head instead of her help, Stormy will have to find away to place her trust and heart in Fury’s care. If she can’t, then neither of them will have a future to dream about.

Next, let me introduce to you, Donte, from my novel, FOR HIS LOVE.

The man is just a walking, talking sex pot, who was kept in captivity all his life, and is now hell bent on saving his fellow men from his same fate.

Blurb:

In a world where men are an endangered species, available only to the ruling class, and the majority of women date androids, the last thing Phia Zen wants is to buy her lover from a catalogue. Imagine her surprise when she receives her purchase, Donté, and discovers he’s a living, breathing man. Problem is he truly belongs to the most powerful woman in the world, and she’ll stop at nothing to get him back.

For the love of a real man, how much will Phia sacrifice? Her family? Her freedom? Her very life and the life of the only man she’s ever loved?

And finally but certainly not least, let me introduce you to Hayze.

Blurb:

I have roamed the earth for over three millennia alone, secretly hoping to one day find the other half of my soul. The one woman who would make my deadened heart beat once more. I never imagined I’d find her in a bloodied heap beneath the claws of a despicable Yazaron, the bane of my existence. As a reward for saving her, I was given three days to make her love me or I would cease to be.

She spent those three days in ICU fighting for her life.

Fate, what a cruel bitch.

I'm reading now a book called Pooh Bridge by Nigel Lampard - it's not a romance in the dedicated to love thing - but Richard, who is a recently widowed man embroiled in some international espionage all for rescuing a woman who had been left face down in a ditch, is incredibly intriguing and interesting ..

  27. I like Fury. And I love a strong heroine and Stormy sounds really cool.
My favorite hero that I recently read is more like reread a dozen times over. Kal is the hero of a book that came out in 1996 and has become one of my all time favorites. After losing his wife in a hurricane he decideds to never fall in love again, bu he has a tiny daughter who despertaely needs a mother.
So Kal puts an ad in a magazine for a celebate marriage and Erika answers it loaded with issues of her own. She makes Kal want to live again. I love how he comes back from his heartbreak. The book is called Mr.Family By: Margot Early.

  33. favorite hero from a recent novel you just read = The last book I read with a hero was The Shining by Stephen King. Danny makes a decent hero for a kid with problems. Dick is a minor character, but also has some big hero moments. Then again, I guess one could argue that Jack has a little bit of hero left too.
